Summertime Grind

Looks like this article is over a year old, so some of the technical solutions or opinions may be a bit outdated now.
Summertime, and the living is easy. That's how the song goes. But for me this summer has been a grind. Not only has it been exceptionally warm for a long while now, I've had a succession of complex ongoing projects that has me more than ready for my surfing break in Cornwall next month. Not that I'm complaining! I love the sun, and I love being busy and challenged. But I think I'd like some downtime soon.
Lately I've been continuing to develop the ShipInsight website, adding a new business directory. I'm also busy specifying and laying the groundwork for a revamped extranet for Riviera Travel, after the successful launch of version 1.0 last summer. Version 2.0 will integrate more closely with their internal tour management system, and bring a host of new features for their Tour Managers in the field. I also continue to work on the fast-growing Octopus platform, refining the user experience, squashing bugs, and adding a bunch of new features. All this, along with some smaller projects. Phew.
Outside of work I'm starting to get more interested and involved in Blockchain technology, as well as cryptocurrency trading and binary options over at Nadex. So much to learn, and so little time!
Hope you're having a great summer too.
