HenParty.ie has organised thousands of hen parties, activities and experiences across Ireland, the UK & Europe, and is the brainchild of Dragon's Den winner Kate Hyde.
When Kate initially approached DesignKarma, it was to support and maintain the existing website which was really showing its' age, and still being powered by Craft 3. Along with an SEO consultant, DesignKarma was also tasked with repairing and improving technical SEO. Steady progress was made, but it was clear that a revamp was long overdue.
Building on the Foundations
DesignKarma begin the redesign with a full audit of the existing website – what's working, what isn't, and where we need to be. A full Discovery Phase covered everything from Competitor Analysis, to User Personas and Information Architecture. Armed with these key learnings, DesignKarma set about designing a whole new content management and user experience.
Working closely with SEO consultant Darren McManus, DesignKarma has delivered a more secure, more focussed, more usable, and ultimately more successful website.
The new website launched in November 2025. The results were self-evident, with an uplift in every metric once we got beyond the Christmas period. The client was thrilled, and went on to begin a new project with DesignKarma – Kate's AI Classes in the new year.
